Grande gioia!
L'operazione ha avuto successo e la gioia è grande! Per Soule e la sua famiglia è come un miracolo che, nonostante la grave malattia e le difficoltà finanziarie, tutto sia andato così bene. Il dott. Charles Mvondo e il suo team hanno fatto un lavoro meraviglioso. L'intervento chirurgico, che si è svolto alla fine di maggio 2018, è stato fatto con successo. L'ospedalizzazione è durata un mese prima che Soule riuscisse a tornare a casa ben riposato.
Tutta la famiglia ringrazia di cuore l'intero team del Cardiac Center e la comunità di donazione mi-do per l'intervento salvavita.
È Pasma, la moglie di Soule, che si prende cura dei loro figli e della piccola agricoltura per un bel po' di tempo. Soule soffre di polyvalvulopatia (danni alle valvole cardiache) e quindi non è in grado di lavorare. Presso il Cardiac Center Shisong, il dott. Cabral Tantchou, utilizzando cateterizzazione cardiaca, ha fatto questa diagnosi e consiglia di sottoporsi ad un intervento chirurgico.
La famiglia vive esclusivamente dei proventi dell'agricoltura e non può raccogliere i fondi per l'operazione. Soule stesso, i suoi amici e familiari potranno contribuire al costo delle indagini di cateterizzazione cardiaca. Per i costi operativi, fr. Boniface chiede alla comunità mi-do il loro prezioso supporto!
