Success story
We are happy with Jean-Robert and his family that the operation, which was nevertheless associated with some risks, was successful! Dr. Charles Mvondo and his team have done a great job. The operation took place in May 2017 and after only a two-week stay at the Cardiac Center Shisong, Jean-Robert was able to return home.
Jean-Robert, his wife Emilie and the whole family thank the mi-do community for making this miracle possible and pray for God's blessings for each individual donor!
Jean-Robert had to retire in young age. Because of a long standing history of health problems he was unable to work. He has been diagnosed with an aortic dissection and Jean-Robert has been treated conservatively for a very long time. After a detailed cardiac catheter examination at the Cardiac Center Shisong, Dr. Jean-Claude Ambassa suggested an urgent surgical intervention.
Because of the long-lasting illness and the resulting incapacity to work, Jean-Robert and his wife Emilie are not able to cover the entire cost of heart surgery. They can cover the costs for the cardiac catheter examination and for the remaining sum, Br. Boniface kindly asks the mi-do community for financial support. Thank you in advance!
