Great joy....
..... About the successful operation! Dr Charles Mvondo and his team successfully operated on Ibrahim in October 2023. Ibrahim was cared for by a highly professional team. Here we see Ibrahim with Hilary (anaesthesia nurse Msc) and Elizabeth (graduate nurse) in whose care Ibrahim was able to recover well from the operation.
The whole family would like to thank the mi-do donation community from the bottom of their hearts for their generous support!
Since 2019, Ibrahim has visited seven different hospitals in Chad, Sudan and Cameroon in search of help. Finally, at St. Padre Pio Hospital in Douala, Cameroon, Dr. Cabral Tantchou diagnosed two heart valve defects and myocarditis. An operation must be carried out urgently.
Ibrahim comes from a polygamous family. His mother is his father's second wife and has four other children. Ibrahim never had the opportunity to go to school. Before his illness, Ibrahim looked after the family's cattle and goats. In the long search for help, all of the family's financial resources have been used up.
In the hope of financial support, the Cardiac Center team carried out the operation in October 2023 due to the urgency - with success!
We received a request for subsequent support on November 6th, 2023. The mi-do donation community is happy to cover the operation costs and would like to thank the individual benefactors from the bottom of their hearts!
