5 heart valves
Since 2022, we have also been supporting patients of the Heart of Cameroon Foundation (HCF), which, together with the General Hospital of Yaoundè, provides heart surgery free of charge or at low cost. Patients only pay for the hospital bed, which is affordable. The materials for the operation are provided through donations, and the doctors at the Heart of Cameroon Foundation do not charge for their services!
We have submitted an application to the Trentino/South Tyrol region to purchase a year's supply of materials. However, we have to make a considerable contribution ourselves, so we are asking for your help in purchasing 5 heart valves.
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to publish individual patient stories for this project. However, we will of course keep you informed about the progress of the project.
